What are you passionate about?
My Spanish heritage. My grandmother is Spanish and from day one she always spoke/sang to me in Spanish. I’ve alway been very close with her and felt a strong connection to my Spanish roots. My first word was “agua” and I didn’t actually start using the word “water” until I was about five.
Where have you traveled and where would you still like to go?
I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, but have never been to Greece and would love to go there someday. I’ve also been to Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras and Guatemala. Places that are still on my bucket list are Argentina, Chile, Australia, Cuba, Fiji, Thailand and Africa.
What is the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad. Most summer mornings we would wake up early to go fishing for seabass, yellowtail, etc. I also spent many fall/winter days in in the blinds hunting for duck and in Mexico hunting for quail.
What’s the most non traditional job you’ve ever had?
I used to work with autistic children. It is one of the most challenging/rewarding things that I have ever done.
Which band would you love to tour with?
The Rolling Stones.
