Where have you traveled and where would you still like to go?
Born into a family of travelers, I have been fortunate to visit Thailand and Cambodia, Mexico, Finland and Italy, enough to give me the taste to strike out on my own. Most recently, I traveled to Ecuador for a mountaineering trip to climb the volcano Chimborazo and some of the surrounding peaks. During my time there, I fell in love with the Andes, and have been craving to explore more of the mountains, specifically in Bolivia and Peru in search of new peaks to climb.
What sports star would you most like to meet?
I would most like to meet Roger Federer. There are few athletes of his caliber who have become such dominant forces in their sport, yet kept such a level head throughout the fame and prestige.
Who would you trade places with for one month?
I would trade places with Kilian Jornet; he holds the record for the fastest ascent and descent of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Denali, and Everest. I imagine he gets a spectacular perspective from the world’s highest peaks, and I am sure I could learn from his unworldly work ethic and dedication to the sport.
