What are you passionate about?
Olympic weightlifting. I got into the sport in 2011, and I’m addicted. I love following the sport at an international level, and I compete in local meets every few months.
Where have you traveled and where would you still like to go?
My favorite foreign city is Prague – beautiful architecture and the beer is cheaper than water :). I would like to go to the island of Ischia off of Italy. That’s where my grandparents are from.
What sports star would you most like to meet?
Drew Brees. My parents are from New Orleans, so I was raised a Saints fan. He walks on water…I just love the guy.
What character in Game of Thrones are you most like?
My favorite character was Stannis (until he went off the rails). I don’t think I’m very much like him, though. According to an online quiz that I just took, I am most like Brienne of Tarth, so I’ll go with that.
What are your favorite movies?
The original Star Wars trilogy by far. I also love the first two Alien movies.
Which band would you love to tour with?
The Rolling Stones in their prime, although I’m not sure I would survive it.
Which three words would you use to describe yourself?
Excitable. Affable. Sportive.
What’s the most non-traditional job you’ve ever had?
I worked as a Behavior Therapist at school for children with autism for the first two years out of college. It was a lot of fun getting to work with and getting to know a group of kids that live with a disorder that’s just not very well understood by the greater population.
What is the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I love horseback riding and grew up going to a western riding camp for about a month and a half every summer. I hope to own a ranch someday, so that I can ride every day.
