Katie works alongside Managing Partner Dave Mullarkey and specializes in Go-To-Market and Board/Advisor searches. Her clients include high-growth Venture- and Private Equity-backed software companies, including Azul, Contentful, Contentsquare, EverCommerce, Cart.com and Zylo.

Prior to joining SPMB in February 2021, Katie spent five years at Betts Recruiting where she focused on enterprise sales recruiting for seed to series C companies. Some of her clients included Adyen, Flexport, New Relic, Periscope Data, Particle.io, Dynamic Signal, Fluxx and SimilarWeb. During her tenure at Betts, Katie relocated to Chicago to launch the company’s Midwest Practice. Her responsibilities continued to grow when she was tapped to manage the New York office as well.

Katie remains based in Chicago, but she grew up in Alamo, CA and spent most weekends in her favorite place — Lake Tahoe. Katie still enjoys an active lifestyle of travel, paired with plenty of time with friends (and her Goldendoodle, Hank).

Katie graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in both business and economics.
