Rosa joined SPMB in June 2018 and serves as an analyst for Dave’s team. Rosa graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2018 with a Bachelors of Arts in Media and Mass Communications. Prior to SPMB, Rosa was an internal audit intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Los Angeles branch, serving clients such as the Walt Disney Corporation and Activision.
Originally born in South Korea, Rosa lived in multiple places throughout her childhood, including Maryland and Oregon. She finally settled in the sprawling city of Los Angeles where she went to high school. At Cal, Rosa was extensively part of student government, being voted to serve as a senator for the Associated Students of the University of California and worked on issues regarding sexual assault and harassment on college campuses. During her free time, you’ll probably find her reading, baking cookies, or going to an indie rock show with her friends.
Which band would you love to tour with?
Japanese Breakfast and Jay Som…Both women being independent powerhouses in the very male centric indie-rock scene, I would be honored to be in their company and maybe (hopefully) become their friends.
What’s the most non traditional job you’ve ever had?
I worked at King Taco in Los Angeles for not a very long time but not only was this job non-traditional, it was probably one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever worked. Also, lengua tacos are all the business.
What character in Game of Thrones are you most like?
Tyrion! He’s super empathetic, eccentric, and a little bit of a pariah which I can relate to.
