Nick helps lead SPMB Search’s AI, Energy Transition, and Frontier Technology practice. As a results-driven search leader, he helps founders/CEOs, investors, and board members quickly identify and hire top-tier talent that will be transformative for their business. Nick runs projects across Go-To-Market functions (Sales, Marketing, BD), CEO/President, Operations/Manufacturing, Product, and Finance — and has successfully completed hundreds of unique and complex senior executive searches.

From early-stage startups to large public companies, Nick partners with high-growth, innovative companies across Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Data Centers/Data Infrastructure), Energy Transition (Solar, Energy Storage, EV/Charging, Utility SaaS), and Frontier Technologies (Drones, Robotics, Autonomy, Defense Tech, Space Tech). The lion’s share of Nick’s work focuses on mission-driven companies that aim to build a more resilient planet.

Prior to SPMB, Nick spent his early career at UBS Wealth Management, Morgan Stanley, and the University of Oxford. He graduated from the University of California Davis with a B.S. in Managerial Economics and a B.A. in Italian.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys running and hiking on Mt. Tamalpais, golfing, boating and fishing on the bay, and snowboarding in Tahoe. Born and raised in beautiful Marin County, he now resides in San Francisco.
