Radley was brought in in 2018 to support Mike Doonan on searches that range from product and technically focused roles to sales and marketing roles, from Fortune 500 companies to VC backed start-ups. Before SPMB he spent nearly 6 years at Betts Recruiting helping to grow a small contingency firm focused on sales and marketing into one of the largest of its kind in the US. He believes the key to being a strong recruiting consultant is being honest, empathetic and intellectually curious. He grew up in the Bay Area, went to school in San Diego and lived in Chicago for 2 years with his wife before returning to California in 2011. Outside of work he spends as much time as possible with his wife, Laura and son Owen.
What are you passionate about?
Spending time with Family and Friends is always going to come first. Additionally, I love hiking around Marin and am a huge Bay Area sports fan, though I tend to root for the Chicago Blackhawks. I love trying new beer and whiskey and have recently become very interested in real estate and investments in general.
Where have you traveled and where would you still like to go?
I didn’t leave the state of California until I was 13 but have now been to 12 states as well as Mexico, Canada, Germany, France, and England. I’d love to travel to Croatia, Italy or Jamaica for my next trip.
Who would you trade places with for one month?
Richard Branson. He seems to live life the right way, runs his businesses wisely and compassionately and definitely marches to the beat of his own drum.
Which three words would you use to describe yourself?
Genuine, Hard-working, Reliable
What’s the most non traditional job you’ve ever had?
I was a meat carver at a Hof Brau in high school. I am pretty useful during Thanksgiving!
What is the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I’ve been to over 100 reggae/dancehall concerts in my life.
