She brings a distinctive blend of finance training, hands-on operating experience, and executive search expertise, allowing her to advise clients with both strategic rigor and practical insight.

Before joining SPMB, April led executive searches at Growth by Design Talent, focusing on senior Talent Acquisition and People leaders for companies ranging from venture-backed startups to large, enterprise organizations. Earlier in her career, she built and scaled recruiting functions for technology companies, supporting teams through rapid growth, organizational change, and global expansion.

Known for her thoughtful, relationship-driven approach, April is trusted for her clarity, judgment, and ability to assess leadership in dynamic environments. She brings a high-touch style and a long-term lens to every search, prioritizing fit, impact, and durability.

April is based in Los Angeles and supports clients nationwide. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and exploring Los Angeles’ neighborhoods, restaurants, and live music scene.
