Eamonn has 20 years of experience in retained executive search and has executed many 100s of successful search projects over the course of his time at SPMB. Joining the firm as an Analyst in 2003, he worked his way up from research, was promoted into recruiting and subsequently into project management, before taking on the role of Managing Partner/Owner, running a large portion of the firm’s day to day operations.

Eamonn has built meaningful relationships in the candidate community across the enterprise world with an exceptionally deep network in developer related worlds, modern infrastructure and enterprise SaaS. He has successfully completed executive level searches across the management suite but spends the majority of his time focused on building and running SPMB’s Developer Related GTM and CMO practices.

His clients include high profile IPOs like GitLab, Okta, Smartsheet, Confluent, MongoDB, and Data Domain (way back when) as well as high growth private companies like Pigment, Gong, Neo4J, Seismic and Material Security, to name a few. He also works closely with a select group of world class established technology companies including Microsoft, Capital One and Disney.

Eamonn graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Business Administration (marketing focused) and a Minor in Theology. He is a proud dad of two, an avid bike racer and a self proclaimed expert in American Literature and burrito shops in the greater Bay Area.
