Tess joined SPMB in 2021 to expand the firm’s Investment practice. Today, she partners with investment, operating, and leadership teams at venture capital, private equity, and asset management firms to place senior investors and functional leaders in Investor Relations, Business Development, Finance, and Legal roles. With a focus on and passion for climate tech, Tess works closely with our clients who invest in sustainable technology companies, helping them build out their investment and operating teams.

Combining a meticulous research strategy with exceptional candidate development skills, Tess brings valuable search expertise to her role and the broader firm. Her efforts have resulted in successful searches for top asset management firms, helping them achieve continued growth and success.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Tess earned her B.A. in Sociology from Pitzer College in Southern California. Now based in New York City, she recruits top talent nationwide. Outside of work, Tess is a passionate NFL fan who enjoys exploring New York’s vibrant food and drink scene. She’s committed to bringing her golf game up to par with her pickleball game.
