What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about the little things in life, and the characteristics of people that make them unique. Sometimes it is hard to find a balance when we get so caught up in the hustle-bustle of everyday life, so I find solace in simple things like music, food, wine, and good company. I am also passionate about taking risks – I think it is important to do at least one thing a day that scares you or challenges your body physically.
Where have you traveled, and where would you still like to go?
I have traveled extensively in Europe and Central America but still have so much to see. The Basque Country is my favorite place I have visited. My ideal travel destination is anywhere tropical, but very next on my list is Sicily, where my ancestors are from – would love to spend a month there studying food and wine!
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Adaptive, intuitive and loyal.
Which band would you tour with?
Red Hot Chili Peppers circa By the Way. I am perplexed by the creative journey of lead singer Anthony Kiedis, and the chemistry of the band on stage. A close second is Led Zeppelin during their heyday – I have listened to Zeppelin before I could speak, and half of their songs still give me the chills.
What 3 movies could you watch again and again?
Almost Famous (see previous question), The Shawshank Redemption, and all of the early Star Wars movies.
